This is the long narrow shadow box, the one for the three foot rattlesnake I dispatched in the Sierras at our campsite.

Held it down with one of my wife's crutches, then kilt it with my long-handled axe.

Skinned, then tanned it, then mounted over carefully selected fabric backing...all of the ladies at the fabric shop swooned over an actual
rattler skin then took extra pains to find me the "perfect" coordinated look for the display...lots of fun!!
