This display box is made using old barn siding and is 10" deep.

It has a glass door.  Edges are square all around.

The frame of the glass door is 3/4" thick by 1 1/2" wide.  This allows for an approximate 1/4" overlap. inside and outside of the box frame.

No finish applied.  Wood has been wire brushed and left the natural old wood look.

It has an endless 33" continuous length nickel plated hinge.

Back is barn siding that has been planed down to 5/8" thick.  It is held in place with wood screws.

It has two keyhole slots in the back for hanging.

This is a view of the bottom box, without the glass door.

The rough wood grain is on the inside of the box.  The outside of the boards have all been planed to the same thickness and makes a smooth finish on the outside of the shadow box.

This shows the 33" continues length nickel plated hinge.

This is a back view.  Boards have been planed down to 5/8" thick.  This has removed most of the old wood color.

You can see the eighteen wood screws holding the back in place.
