Gaylene requested this Memory Box be designed with 9 openings, a glass top and a removable back.  The dividers and glass top are not removable which can pose a problem if the inside of the glass should ever need cleaned.  There is approximately a sixteenth inch space between the glass and the dividers. The theory being that once the display has been completed, the back will be sealed and no dirt or dust will get inside to require the glass to need cleaning.  Sounds like a winner to me.

Glass Top Oak Memory Box

This box is made using 3/4" thick oak for the frame.

It has a glass front with a plywood removable back.

Top edges are rounded inside and out.

Interlocking dividers are made using 3/8" thick oak.

It has a removable plywood back held in place with twelve wood screws.

It has two key hole slots in the back for hanging.

Weight: 15# 4 oz.
